Mtrack hardware upgrades were successfully tested by Thatcham Quality Assurance teams on the 5th January 2012. In addition to these tests Thatcham Engineers also successfully tested the Mtrack’s ability to recover a stolen car hidden in an Underground Car Park, no easy feat, especially when you consider the hide location had No GPS or GSM signals present.

Automatrics were invited to present mtrack at the inaugural Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) Rural Crime Seminar, and were the only tracking company to attend. mtrack demonstrated at the IAMI European conference in Dubrovnik - Oct 2011
A technical presentation on the advantages of using the mtrack unit followed by a live sub 1 metre find was well received by the delegates at the International Association of Marine Investigators' (IAMI) annual European conference in Dubrovnik, Croatia. International Police representatives and Marine insurers such as Pantaenius and Haven Knox-Johnston appeared more upbeat after the Automatrics presentation. Further appreciating how technical expertise and independent Thatcham Quality Certification of mtrack (more typically specified on high risk motor vehicle insurance policies) could be similarly applied to help improve theft recovery rates within the marine sector.

mtrack competition winner announced – Sept 2011
Mr M from London is now the proud owner of an mtrack unit (and one year’s monitoring) after his name was drawn from the correct entries submitted since the last draw. Mr M immediately confirmed he would make good use of the mtrack on one of his family’s vehicles until such time that his new motorcycle arrived. The next draw is scheduled for March 2012.

Upgraded GPS/GSM/RF mtrack available - July 2011
The GPS/GSM/RF version of the mtrack unit is now available from this site. In addition to all the features of the original, the new unit adds GPS positioning and geo-fencing. The dual band modem is replaced by a quad band unit allowing the mtrack to be tracked in over 218 countries. GPRS is provided, allowing more information to be supplied at no extra cost and also enables software updates to be made remotely.

Thatcham CAT7: New certifications for Stolen Vehicle Recovery (SVR) trackers - March 2011
Thatcham’s scheme of product certification, commonly known as TQA, has changed its title to Thatcham Quality Assurance. In conjunction with this change, two new Security Categories have been created specifically for tracking systems. CAT 6 and CAT 7 replace the original 'Stolen Vehicle Tracking Systems' and 'Stolen Vehicle Location Systems' criteria.

British Embassy Visit Automatrics at Tokyo Industry Exhibition - Nov 2009
Automatrics were the only British company present at the Tokyo Industry Exhibition. Hosted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and with over 40,000 visitors, it is Japan’s biggest trade show for SMEs. British Embassy (Tokyo) Second Secretary, Mr Philip Mckenzie, made a special visit to meet with Automatrics at the Exhibition. mtrack exhibited at The National BikeSafe Show - 20th to 21st June 2009
Automatrics were again invited by the Police to attend this years BikeSafe Show at Hendon to showcase the mtrack product. The show featured all things in motorcycling with a strong emphasis placed on road safety and security.
Police tests for tracking motorcycles are tough and require the ability to track a stolen motorcycle whilst hidden in the back of a van where GPS signals are blocked. We successfully passed the test and the mtrack find team took just 10 minutes to locate a motorcycle once it had stopped moving (having driven several hundred miles). The van was hidden behind a steel shutter door of an Industrial lockup in Manchester

Automatrics set up mtrack trials for Thatcham Quality Accreditation (TQA) for leisure and non-powered assets. Thatcham evaluated mtrack's proactive alarming mechanism. With patented power control technology mtrack works for several years between battery changes. The trials proved successful with new TQA awards presented shortly afterwards (see above)
