Deterrents such as specialist motorbike padlocks, chains and ground anchors are a sensible precaution. But despite this, and the increasing use of CAT 1 motorcycle alarms and immobilisers; motorcycle theft in the UK remains unchanged at around 35,000 thefts a year.
